The Learning and Evaluation Situation (LES) titled "Mission Innovation: Becoming Tomorrow's Technological Heroes" represents an exceptional opportunity for high school students to dive into the challenges and opportunities presented by the intersection of technology, society, and ethics.

Designed to seamlessly fit into the "Culture and Citizenship Quebec" program, this LES offers students a multidimensional platform to explore, critique, and innovate in the field of emerging technologies.

The structure of this LES is meticulously crafted to guide students through a series of intermediate tasks, from the initial trigger "Imagining the Future: Reflections on Technology and Ethics" to the final task "Ethical Innovators Forum." Each stage is designed to develop a specific skill, starting with engaging students in critical reflection on the impact of technologies in our society, up to the design of an ethically responsible technology or application.

The LES offers two formats: a 100% digital version and a hybrid version that includes printed documents for students. These formats are thoughtfully designed to adapt to different teaching contexts and students' learning preferences. The accompanying guide provided with the LES is a valuable tool that guides students throughout the process, enriching their learning experience with targeted activities and guided reflections.

All the necessary materials for the teacher, including detailed evaluation grids, are included, allowing for seamless integration of the LES into the curriculum. This material supports the teacher in assessing transversal skills such as information exploitation and the ability to dialogue and examine a variety of viewpoints, which are essential in today's technologically advanced world.

The curriculum links are clearly established, aligning the LES with the general training domain "Environment and Consumption" and emphasizing the importance of developing a critical consciousness regarding the impact of technologies on our environment and consumption behaviors. The transversal skill "Exploiting Information" is at the heart of this LES, encouraging students to search, select, and use relevant information to understand the ethical issues related to new technologies.
