The REPERTOIRE series is designed to help beginner students of all ages become confident and skilled users of the English language. Using high interest learning situations, this tool focuses on the students' development of the following three competencies: interacting orally in English; reinvesting understanding of texts and writing and producing texts.
IN TOWN WITHOUT MY CAR! is the second of a 6-learning-situation series. The other learning situations are:
- Let’s make it a successful year!
- Competition: Good, Bad or Unnecessary?
- Health and Well-Being! Do You Care?
- The Christopher Columbus Effect!
- Who Works When Others Take it Easy?
The activities of this learning situation can be realized in 4 to 6 hours. They include tasks that encourage cooperative learning and self-reflection as well as exercises that encompass the three dimensions of learning: cognitive, affective and social. Complimentary activities are also supplied for in-class work as well as homework: quizzes, riddles, vocabulary, and grammar.
Learning with Repertoire brings ESL students beyond the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, as it deals with important issues of contemporary life that students face in today's society.
The prices are decreasing according to the number of credits purchased.
